Sean Fraser Joins Coaching Staff

Lincoln Memorial University Women’s Soccer coach, Sean Fraser, has been selected as the head coach of our '07 Girls Premier team for the 2018-19 season. Coach Fraser will also work with the '06 Girls Premier team. We are very excited to add Coach Fraser to our USA North family of players and coaches. We feel that he brings tremendous soccer knowledge and experience that will help develop our players and program.


Coach Fraser – a native of Durham, England –  began his coaching career as he was an Academy Coach at Sunderland AFC from 2005-07. He also served as the Director of Coaching at the Paris Soccer Club in Paris, TN and as a graduate assistant coach at Bethel University in McKenzie, TN from 2008-11. From 2011-15, Coach Fraser served as the Head Men's Soccer Coach at Midland University, where he compiled a 53-25-6 overall record, including a record-breaking 18-2-2 mark in 2013. Coach Fraser then served as the head coach of the U17 women's team for the Middlesbrough FC Centre of Excellence for the 2015-16 season. In the 2016-17 season, Coach Fraser served as the Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach at the University of Charleston where he helped lead the Golden Eagles to a 19-3-2 record and an appearance in the NCAA Division II National Championship game.

As a player, Fraser was a four-year letterwinner at Bethel University where he was a two-time All-KIAC selection and a two-time All-TranSouth pick. He concluded his four-year career at Bethel ranked second in the program's career history in goals scored with 54. He continued his playing career after college, and he scored his only professional goal in the prestigious FA Cup for Durham City.

Fraser's list of soccer-specific licensures includes: UEFA A, B and C License, NSCAA Level 1 & 2 Goalkeeping Diploma, NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma, FA Licensed Coaches Club, NSCAA Coaches Club, NSCAA Premier Diploma, FA Youth Module 1, 2 and 3, FA Youth Award and FA Futsal Level 1.
